Austrian National Championship runner-up Thomas Janzso (HSEBC) and Jérôme Liedtke (SNOCK) successfully defended their Austrian Snooker Doubles Championship title. In the final, they defeated newly crowned National Champion Oskar Charlesworth and Philipp Koch (both HSEBC) convincingly 3-0. The bronze medal went to the pairing of Thomas Brandl and Daniel Seyser (SNOCK/15 Reds).
On 11 January 2026, the best Doubles teams in Austria – having qualified through the National Championship Qualifiers – competed for the title at the Austrian Snooker and Billiards Academy in Vienna as part of the ÖSBV Finals, held for the first time. The event was played in a best-of-five format.
In the semi-finals, the pairings Janzso/Liedtke and Charlesworth/Koch both advanced with clear 3-0 victories.
The defending champions dominated the final and secured their third consecutive Austrian Snooker Doubles title with a 3-0 win over Charlesworth/Koch.
In the match for bronze, Thomas Brandl and Daniel Seyser defeated Christian Kasparek and Zoran Kostic 2–0.

Several strong breaks marked the tournament, with Oskar Charlesworth recording the highest break of the day with 78 points.
Walter Kunz (Vienna), who officiated the final and one of the semi-finals, Veronika Kovács from Hungary, who refereed in the second semi-final, and Erich Pließnig (Carinthia) for the bronze match served as referees. Tournament Director duties were handled by ÖSBV Sports Director Patrick Stegmeier. Livestream and TV production were provided by Andreas Kronlachner of the ÖBU.
