The first winner of the 2024 Grand Prix season is Paul Schopf (PSSC). The Upper Austrian secures the tournament victory with a 4-2 final success over Oskar Charlesworth (HSEBC). After Schopf prevailed against Jérôme Liedtke (Snock) and Charlesworth against Mario Bodlos (TSG) in the semi-finals, each with a 4-3 win in the decider, the eventual tournament winner achieves the highest break of the tournament (98) in the first frame of the final.

l.r.: 2nd Oskar Charlesworth (HSEBC), 1st Paul Schopf (PSSC), 3rd Mario Bodlos (TSG)

The match for third place turned out to be a clear affair for Bodlos, who defeated Liedtke 4-0. In the absence of national champion Florian Nüßle (Bulls), who was fighting for a ticket to the Snooker Main Tour at the 7th event of the WPBSA Q Tour this weekend, 15 players participated in the opening tournament of the ASL Grand Prix Series 2024 (after one withdrawal).
