Following his recent match win at the Championship League Snooker, Florian Nüßle is still waiting for his first knockout-round victory as a professional on the World Snooker Tour.
At the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters 2025 in Jeddah, the reigning Austrian national champion was narrowly and unfortunately defeated 3-4 by Dylan Emery from Wales in the decider of his best-of-7 opening match, after trailing 0-3 and mounting an impressive comeback that included a century break of 129.
Nüßle’s next chances to qualify for the main stages of World Snooker Tour events will come in early September, at the qualifiers for the Xi’an Grand Prix and the Northern Ireland Open, both held in Leicester, England.
