Martin Schmidt of HSEBC Vienna secured his ninth Austrian National Billiards Championship title – and his sixth in a row – at the ÖSBV Finals for the 2025 season.
In an exciting final, the Upper Austria native prevailed over 2011 National Champion Patrick Stegmeier of ABC Vienna, who produced the highest break of the final with a run of 45 points. The bronze medal went to Christian Pleschko of PSSC Wels, who won the playoff for third place against his club teammate Patrick Russ.
Schmidt also recorded the highest break of the tournament with a series of 56 points.
