Lukas Stötzer of PSSC Wels claimed his sixth Austrian Under-21 Snooker Championship title in a row. The 15-year-old from Upper Austria defeated Timo Gampersberger of TSG Graz 3-0 in the final and produced the highest break of the event with an 87 in the third frame. Milan Dobrosavljevic of 15 Reds Vienna took the bronze medal.
On 11 January 2026, Austria’s top junior players gathered at the Austrian Snooker and Billiards Academy in Vienna to compete for the U21 national title, held as part of the ÖSBV Finals for the 2025 season.
In the semi-finals, Lukas Stötzer (PSSC) beat his club teammate Julian Dopetsberger 2-0, while Timo Gampersberger (TSG) recorded an equally clear 2-0 win over Milan Dobrosavljevic (15 Reds).
The final was dominated by the 15-year-old from Wels, currently ranked number 3 in Austria’s Open Category rankings. Stötzer defeated Gampersberger 3-0 to secure the 2025 U21 National Title.
In the bronze medal match, Milan Dobrosavljevic overcame Julian Dopetsberger, also from Upper Austria, with a 2-0 victory to claim his first National Championship medal.
The tournament featured a number of strong breaks, with Stötzer’s 87 standing as the highest of the day. It was a high-quality U21 finals day marked by impressive breaks and convincing performances from Austria’s young Snooker talents.
Johan Hansson of Sweden officiated the final and, together with Christian Fock (Vienna), also refereed one of the semi-finals. Carl Walter Steiner (Vienna) was the official for the bronze medal match. ÖSBV Sports Director Patrick Stegmeier served as Tournament Director, and Andreas Kronlachner of the ÖBU provided livestream and TV production coverage. The programme will be broadcast on ORF Sport+ on 29 January at 8:15 p.m.
